Warren Oliver Stone

Sports, Deep Tissue and Remedial Massage Therapist

From a young age I have had a passion for health and wellness coupled with an interest in the mind, body, spirit traditions of other cultures. This fascination has grown over time. Having grown up in a catering family all things food related was a significant influence on my development.

For the last 18 years I pursued a career in the fitness industry as a coach and personal trainer gaining numerous qualifications as well as valuable experience and insights.

As I progressed it became more apparent that there were gaps in my knowledge and that in order to progress, I needed to expand my skill set. This led me to studying with and gaining a Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage qualification with The Oxford School of Sports Massage in 2017.  Since that time, I have going on to undertake additional training in acupuncture/dry needling, spine and pelvis manipulation and mobilisation as well as completing the level 3 integrated movement science course with the CHEK institute.

Combining all these strands together into a holistic model of health my aim as a therapist is to restore balance and harmony within the body, mind and spirit. As soft tissue therapists we have many tools in our toolbox and no two massages are ever the same, quite simply because no two people are the same, we all come with a unique set of needs.

Sports massage has a reputation for being painful or that it needs to employ deep pressure in order to be effective. I have found this not to be the case and have always strived to provide a massage that is both pleasant and effective.

It is my desire that you leave my couch feeling relaxed, balanced and restored.

I offer Sports and Remedial massage which encompasses Deep Tissue work, Fascial Release, Neuromuscular therapy, Soft Tissue release, Joint mobilisation, Acupuncture/Dry Needling for musculoskeletal conditions as well as Electro Acupuncture for the management of pain.
