Tips to stay cool in the heatwave

  • Drink plenty of plain water or flavoured water : take a handful fruit (which can be fresh or frozen ) and herbs and muddle using a wooden spoon in a jug. Add ice and cover in water. Refrigerate and enjoy! Flavour ideas: Lemon Lime & Orange | Raspberry & Lime | Pineapple & Mint | Lemon & Cucumber | Blackberry & Sage | Watermelon & Rosemary | Mango & Blueberries | Orange & Vanilla | Strawberry & Basil | Cherry & Lime | Blackberry & Ginger | Peach & Vanilla Bean | HoneydewLime | Pineapple, Raspberry & Mint | Peach,Thyme & Lemon .

  • Wear light clothes, choose cotton : Opting for lightweight cotton clothing is the best option when it's scorching outside. Avoid dark colours and keep summery with withes and creams, as these are more likely to reflect the sun's radiation .

  • Wear sunscreen protection SPF15 | SPF 30 | SPF 50

  • Eat lots of salads & fruits

  • Freeze your breeze : Place a bowl or tray of ice in front of a blowing fan, your room will become cooler as the ice melts

  • Shout out the sun :  Keep blinds and curtains closed during the day as a preventative measure to stop your room from overheating

  • Keep your feet cool :  There are plenty of pulse points around the feet and ankles, so dunking your feet into an ice bucket can help take your temperature down

  • Keep your moisturisers in the fridge

  • Keep calm and Enjoy the Summer!
